Last week was extremely hectic.
It’s almost 10 pm on a Sunday and I am just getting down to writing this post. Also watching a super lame movie bcoz you know this girl loves them.. Read more here.

Ok now let’s get started on another week of this gratitude journey.
1. Monday – Quietening the over-active mind
I love to meditate but I still find excuses not to do it. But this Monday, I forced myself to sit quietly for 10 min.
Oh if you think I did fantastic, hold on. My thoughts went on an over-drive bcoz you know they are sneeky attention-seeking creatures and promptly show up when you are trying to ignore them. 🙄
But I am still so grateful to have started the week on the right note. Just the act of sitting still made me feel a little bit more centered and ready for the week.
2. Tuesday – Not rushing out like a Usain Bolt in the morning
I wake up most of the mornings looking/feeling like this..
full-blown almost a crazy person trying to sprint out of the house at the speed of Usain Bolt. 🏃🏽♀️ It’s stressful. Period.
Tuesday I woke up half an early, got ready without rush and walked out of the house this happy-
3. Wednesday – Under my umbrella
I forgot to carry an umbrella on Wednesday because.. wait for it.. I was running late and rushing out of the house. Ok fine I know what you’re thinking but #real-life #you-win-some-days-you-lose-most-of-the-days 🤷♀️
When I got out of work in the evening, it was pouring rain and I still had to walk about 5 min to reach the bus stop. Now that’s a wet situation to be in.. But my workplace came to the rescue as they keep a stack of umbrellas. It’s such a small thing but I couldn’t stop smiling and thanking my stars.
And no I don’t work in a jungle . 👇🏽 I mean I’d love to though.. Where do I fill out the application?
4. Thursday – Young, fabulous and HUNGRY!!
I had a busy day and did not get a chance to have lunch. *Wakes up late, can’t control her thoughts, doesn’t eat on time..I am painting such a bad picture of me. 🤦🏽♀️*
Anywho, I got back home ravenous and was beyond thankful for the leftover food from the previous day. 👇🏽 need I say more?
5. Friday – Thankful for my tribe of blogger friends!
I would like to believe that I have a small but strong tribe of blogger friends. It’s amazing to see so many women supporting and cheering each other. 👏👏
Also want to mention the sweetest Maha from melangeofwords.com who, without fail, comments on every single post of mine. Ever so grateful for the love!
6. Saturday – Troy is the king of my heart
Sorry Mr. M but you gotta understand that I had no choice. Like who can ever resist this cuteness!?
He is the spoilt cute little brat of our house back in India. All our video chats revolve around him and Saturday was no different. Seeing him always makes my day brighter and happier. ❤️
Told ya he is a king!
7. Sunday – The best sleep ever!
Repeating myself 1029378th time.. but I did have a busy week filled with restless sleep .
Oh but I had the loveliest sleep on Sunday and woke up bright, refreshed and happy. 👇🏽
I clearly need to work on my happy face. 🤦🏽♀️
Apart from the above mentioned moments, this weekend was spectacular. We met so many of our friends over dinner, chats and games. How was your week? I hope it was filled with love and more love. 😍
