Gratitude Journal – Week 5

Last week was a good one.

For most part of it, I had this content-zen feeling that I think is mainly because of my focus on the practise of gratitude. I am excited to see and experience life with this new outlook.

Now let’s get started on another week of gratefulness adventure.

1. Monday – Breakfast of champs!

I love breakfast but since I am usually impersonating Usain Bolt (check this for context) in the morning, it’s difficult  to carve out extra time to prepare something anything eatable.

But not this Monday. I made these overnight chia pudding on Sunday night for breakfast the next morning. #getting-my-life-organized!

I also love overnight oats and you can find tonnes of recipes online.

2. Tuesday – What’s Monika’s blog without talking, writing and posting pictures of sunsets and….

My heart overflows with gratitude everytime I witness this –

3. Wednesday – Breakfast of peeps who say they have their life sorted/organized but don’t really…

#getting-my-life-organized  All lies! 🤷‍♀️

Anywho, we get free bagels and muffins every Wednesday in office and since I am usually ravenous in the mornings, having this little treat filled my world and tummy with so much happiness.

4. Thursday – Getting out of work before the dark ages descended..

It was so wonderful to step out of office and still see daylight – definitely the most exciting part of the fast approaching warmer weather!

ps – I know you guys must be wondering about my insane photography skills. It’s hard work guys! This shot took me *wait for it* almost 5 seconds to take. 😓 #ah-tired!

5. Friday – Books are a girl’s best friend!

I have an extremely long commute to work but I ain’t complaining. I actually enjoy my time in the bus as it let’s me unwind and do things I love aka read and blog.

I am currently reading this book. It started out pretty amazing but lost some of it’s zing mid-way. I am hoping it will pick up pace soon.

6. Saturday – Target is life!

Raise your hand(s) if you agree. 🙋🏽 And if you don’t, hmmm I don’t think we can be friends anymore.

I love Target. Period. I love using the word “Period”. Period. 🤷‍♀️

We went to Target on Saturday to look for a TV stand and ended up buying 15 items other than the TV stand.

ps – If Ryan Gosling can’t resist the temptation, who am I to complain?

But seriously ever so grateful for this store! I bought a very official looking blazer that I am pretty excited to style and showcase on the blog soon.

7. Sunday – Food prep for this week because this blog is turning into a food network..

We cook at home atleast 4-5 days a week but coming back from work and then making dinner takes every ounce of my strength.

So as part of my 123789th attempt at adulting, I did some food prep for this week aka the hashtag #getting-my-life-organized is making a comeback!

So I guess I am grateful for myself.. It’s okay to applaud and celebrate all the hard work you do 😊

ps – It’s difficult/hard-work being this photogenic. 🤷‍♀️

How was your week? If nothing else, be grateful for yourself! You are a total kick-ass babe/baba and deserve the world.

Thank you so much for stopping by.. I’ll see you all soon. – Love, M ❤️
